I'm trying to determine how the Wii behaves online (Who it contacts and what ports it uses).

While I'm talking about it...I love it. But it gets surprisingly toasty when it's in WiiConnect24 "standby" mode. It's not "hot" or anything, but it makes me a tad nervous when my electronics get hotter while in standby than they do when they're turned on and working.
Granted, it's because the fan doesn't run when it's in standby mode..but still.

I want to sell off some computer hardware.

For sale - 2x 256MB 200 pin PC2100 DDR. It's for a laptop. Works great, it used to be in my computer until I upgraded my RAM. I'm hoping for $20-$30 per stick.

2x 600MHz Slot 1 Pentium 3 processors. Haven't checked them, but I'll do so. They should work, though, they're pulls from a couple of years ago. Hoping for $20 or $30 per processor. They should be the same stepping.

1x 500MHz Slot 1 Pentium 3. I'll test this one, too, but it should be working. It's a pull from a similar system as the 600MHz ones. I want $20 for this.

Some number (I think four) of 128MB PC133 SDRAM sticks. $15 each would be good.

Hm...I think that's it. Any takers? I'll start posting it all on eBay soon if nobody is interested in any of it.

ps. I can install the DDR and benchmark it if anyone is interested in the bandwidth. I recall it being pretty decent.

I'm at Clayton State while Frances attends her painting class in the next room. I was kind of hoping to be able to watch, but whatever works. We're going to go out to eat after.

This is an update. Really, it is, I swear it is! OH FUCK YOU.

Anyways. Sepia_Deity is so great. She does...great stuff, I think. Oh! And she has attack bees! They fly around and kill diplomats! She's current residing in Iowa, which is like the badass state or something. I think they grow corn there, or something. Maybe it's beets....but I'm almost certain that it's corn. OH. She's from California, which is BADASS. I LOVE CALIFORNIA TACO's. The best taco I ever ate IN MY LIFE, I got at some place in southern California. OH DEAR GOD IT WAS A GOOD TACO. It was a fish taco, and cost like, $1.

Anyways, I lost my train of thought.

Serenity was awesome. Just....awesome. Way better than Star Wars 3. In fact, I'd easily classify it as one of the best movies I've ever seen. And it's not even finished!

I NEED to get into another screening. It's not a want, it's a need. I can't wait to see this movie again until September 30.

For a period of ~12 hours my FTP server was 0wned by a few people. Access has been cut off while the server is secured and checked for warez files. I do not know when public (basically outside)access will be restored. I will include a link to the log file, and I will post IP addresses here. Maybe some of my friends can help track these people down for me? *hint hint...you know who you are*.

217.93.134.70 - Logged in a few times. First login was done as Anonymous. Second login was Killa@AOL.com. I have not traced this user yet, will do so soon and will update when I do.

83.133.126.72 - This is the user that pissed me off. This user logged in as Anonymous, created multiple folders inside my openCanvas 1.1 folder, and proceeded to upload German versions of movies and MP3's. I have traced this user, and he is in Germany as his host names ends with a DE. I have not completed a port scan against him, although I plan to do so from school.

Over 11GB of unauthorized data was placed on my server. More was being added when I discovered the security breach, which occured sometime last night.

Update: This explains the slow internet connection last night. I probably should have checked the modem.

Update 2: It appears that Killa@AOL.com is responsible for more than I thought. It's very possible that 217.93.134.70 and 83.133.126.72 are one in the same. Some of the NFO's for the movies that were uploaded are labled as Kill@, as well as the folder all the movies are in. Therefore, it's possible that he logged in with 217.93.134.70 to scout out the server, as a folder was created then deleted, then logged in as 83.133.126.72 in order to upload the movies and music. I'm still investigating the situation, but it appears that it's my own stupidity that is at fault. I kept forgetting to turn Write access to the folder off.

I got Frances' package in the mail today. She sent me cookies (mm...cookies), art, buttons, biohazard bags, cookies within a biohazard bag (they taste good, so I'm not going to ask what's in them), a very nice picture ~_^, and she lent me Lunar 1 and 2. She also sent stuff for ~eilonnwy , which I will be delivering on Friday if all goes according to plan.

So today was a good day, except, I'm confused about tomorrow (technically today ^^;; ), as I haven't been in contact with my boss, and as such, don't know what time he wants to work tomorrow. I could probably go in at noon and be safe, but I want to get home early...
