I'm trying to determine how the Wii behaves online (Who it contacts and what ports it uses).
Here's the activity pulled from my router logs.

While I'm talking about it...I love it. But it gets surprisingly toasty when it's in WiiConnect24 "standby" mode. It's not "hot" or anything, but it makes me a tad nervous when my electronics get hotter while in standby than they do when they're turned on and working.
Granted, it's because the fan doesn't run when it's in standby mode..but still. |

I want to sell off some computer hardware.
For sale - 2x 256MB 200 pin PC2100 DDR. It's for a laptop. Works great, it used to be in my computer until I upgraded my RAM. I'm hoping for $20-$30 per stick.
2x 600MHz Slot 1 Pentium 3 processors. Haven't checked them, but I'll do so. They should work, though, they're pulls from a couple of years ago. Hoping for $20 or $30 per processor. They should be the same stepping.
1x 500MHz Slot 1 Pentium 3. I'll test this one, too, but it should be working. It's a pull from a similar system as the 600MHz ones. I want $20 for this.
Some number (I think four) of 128MB PC133 SDRAM sticks. $15 each would be good.
Hm...I think that's it. Any takers? I'll start posting it all on eBay soon if nobody is interested in any of it.
ps. I can install the DDR and benchmark it if anyone is interested in the bandwidth. I recall it being pretty decent. |

I leave for home in 8 hours. I really hate these last days, they're so depressing.
I'm at Clayton State while Frances attends her painting class in the next room. I was kind of hoping to be able to watch, but whatever works. We're going to go out to eat after.
I really don't want to leave, I won't see her again until December. Waiting this past trip was hard enough. |

This is an update. Really, it is, I swear it is! OH FUCK YOU.
Anyways. Sepia_Deity is so great. She does...great stuff, I think. Oh! And she has attack bees! They fly around and kill diplomats! She's current residing in Iowa, which is like the badass state or something. I think they grow corn there, or something. Maybe it's beets....but I'm almost certain that it's corn. OH. She's from California, which is BADASS. I LOVE CALIFORNIA TACO's. The best taco I ever ate IN MY LIFE, I got at some place in southern California. OH DEAR GOD IT WAS A GOOD TACO. It was a fish taco, and cost like, $1.
Anyways, I lost my train of thought. |
